Paisley-based construction and refurbishment company Clark Contracts has reported a strong financial performance, with an 18 per cent increase in turnover.

For the year ended 31 October 2025, revenue grew to £125.9 million (FY2024: £106.5 million), underpinned by operating profit of £2.5 million (FY2024: £2.1 million).
The firm’s cash position remained stable at £14.3 million (FY2024: £10.3 million), supported by improved net assets worth £18.8 million.
Bosses consider the results to be “good”, amid a backdrop of inflation and a lack of supply of “skilled resources”.
Founded in 1978, the Scotland-based firm has adopted a strategy of reinvesting profits back into the business, which has allowed them to remain financially “strong”.
“We continue to operate a strict risk management process on all individual contracts and frameworks and to focus on individual project risk,” bosses said in a financial statement.
“The company’s financial position is healthy and the prospects and opportunities for business moving forward are very positive.”
