Construction consultancy Ridge & Partners has acquired Driven International, specialists in racetrack design, master planning, and engineering.

Since delivering its first Formula 1 headquarters for Benetton in Oxfordshire in 1991, Ridge has completed in excess of £8 billion of projects for more than 20 Formula 1 teams globally.
The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, adds Hampshire-headquartered Driven’s experience in architecture and engineering for motorsport destinations to its portfolio, bolstering its growth strategy
Driven’s notable projects include the Lara Racing Circuit in Bulgaria and collaborations on F1 venues such as Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, with the deal also set to continue their decade of work together with Motorsport Vision across UK venues such as Donington Park.
With 1,400 employees and a turnover expected to exceed £150 million, Ridge aims to leverage the acquisition to expand into new sectors and manage larger, more complex projects, with Driven’s team joining its workforce across 14 offices.
