A growing built environment tech company’s strategic focus on expansion has taken a major leap forward with the appointment of a new chief executive officer and chief revenue officer.
Lancashire-headquartered Glider Technology, which was founded in 2016, has appointed Jayne Archbold as CEO and Richard Farnworth as CRO.
The appointments follow strategic acquisitions of Sitedesk in May, and EDocuments last September, supported by an investment from its partnership with private equity firm, Cow Corner, enabling the firm to offer improved asset information management and digital handover solutions for the built environment.
Archbold brings more than 30 years of leadership experience, including CEO at Sage’s mid-market European division, and global software firms GENII and Iptor.
Farnworth, with a background at enterprise technology firms, Oracle and Axway, will focus on scaling revenue and market expansion.
Archbold, who also becomes a managing partner, said: “Glider is uniquely positioned to set the standard for intelligent estate management. With an exceptional team, cutting-edge technology and a growing demand for smarter building information, we have a real opportunity to scale in the UK and globally.”
Glider’s co-founder and outgoing CEO, Nick Hutchinson will continue as managing partner to support its continued growth, innovation and future M&A opportunities.
