Keepmoat expands Executive Board with senior hire from rival Persimmon

Housebuilder Keepmoat has appointed Karl Wiseman to its Executive Board.

Wiseman joins as its new group production director.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in the housing sector, with senior roles including construction director, regional managing director, and deputy regional chairman at fellow housebuilder Persimmon.

In his new role, he will oversee the company’s construction, health and safety, commercial, procurement, technical, and customer care teams.

His appointment aims to support operational performance and the delivery of homes across the UK.

Ian Hoad, chief executive officer (CEO) at Keepmoat, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Karl to the Keepmoat team.

“His extensive experience in large-scale residential delivery and operational leadership will be invaluable as we strengthen the executive board and drive the business forward.

In its financial results for the year ended 31 October 2024, Keepmoat reported revenue of £724.7 million, down from £815.1 million, pre-tax profit of £53 million (FY2023: £81.5 million).

It maintained a forward land pipeline of over 24,400 projected completions, as Ian Hoad took over as CEO.

Keepmoat also recently strengthened its North West operations with the appointment of Simon Ward as director of construction, alongside contract managers Steve Green and Dave Nunes, while Robert Holbrook and Mark Dilley joined the finance team in divisional and chief financial officer roles.
