The Yorkshire and Midlands-based housebuilder saw a modest increase in profits for the year ended 31 December 2025, driven by easing cost inflation and strategic investments for future growth.

The company reported a pre-tax profit of £8 million, up from £7.5 million the previous year, with operating profit at a steady £8.7 million (FY2024: £9.1 million) despite a dip in turnover.

Revenue fell slightly to £156.9 million (FY2024: £160.8 million), attributed to weaker house sales during the year.

Bosses said: “Customer demand throughout 2025 overall reflected the prior year and we continue to monitor the progress of the sales market carefully.”

Harron continued to focus on long-term expansion by acquiring several sites in 2025, with cash remaining strong at £13.4 million and net assets increasing to £168.5 million.

It also enhanced its management team, appointing Jack Noble-Hawkins as group environment health & safety director to strengthen governance and safety across the business.

Additionally, the firm opened a combined head and regional office in Leeds, named Trueman House in honour of Yorkshire cricketing legend Fred Trueman, continuing its strategic growth in the region.

The move coincides with Harron joining the Home Builders Federation (HBF) – a key step in the company’s wider strategy to raise standards and drive improvement.

Group managing director James Poynor called it a “much-needed and timely step forward” as it continues to scale operations and strengthen internal culture.

He said: “This investment is part of our ongoing journey to evolve our business and better serve our customers.

“We’ve already seen a shift in people’s attitudes and ambitions since the move, and we’re positive this investment will play a key part in keeping and attracting talented employees.
