The firm was recently appointed by Pure Data Centre Group (Pure DC) to deliver the next phase of a 70MW campus in Brent Cross, north London, known as LON1B2.

The facility, valued at more than £1 billion, is in addition to the existing 20 MW B1 campus, bringing the centre capacity to 90 MW, which is currently operating, and is expected to be completed by  2029.

Extending to 23,186 sqm, Glencar will enhance the Brent Cross campus’s West Cold Shell with features including piling foundations, structural frame, concrete and slab works alongside connections to the ‘adjacent’ East Cold Shell, which is still under construction.

Pure DC executive chairman, Gary Wojtaszek said: “The data centre industry faces a critical challenge: building the digital infrastructure the world needs in a way that also takes care of local communities and environment.

“We are delighted to be working with Glencar, whose approach to delivery and sustainability aligns with our ambitions for this project.”

Alongside its record order book and “growing capability” across data centres, Glencar generated £236 million in turnover for the six months to 31 March 2026, with its gross profit margins increasing to 7.3 per cent.

Although, in its 2025 results, revenue fell to £360.3 million from £406.8 million the year prior due to some delayed project starts, with a pre-tax profit of £3.9 million, for FY2026’s half year, pre-tax profits reached £5 million, supported by a strengthened cash reserve of £53.2 million.

Chief executive Eddie McGillycuddy said: “As we enter our tenth year, Glencar is a genuinely multi-sector business with growing capability across a number of strategically important sectors.

“The business enters FY2026 with its strongest secured pipeline to date, improving financial performance and significant momentum across the group.”
