Galldris Group has announced the appointment of a new managing director, as the business enjoys life as a recent convert to an Employee Ownership Trust.

James Elford has joined the Enfield-headquartered civils specialist from Laing O’Rourke, bringing more than 20 years of industry expertise to bear.
Before working at Laing O’Rourke, where he spent more than five years, latterly as project leader, Elford spent nearly 17 years at Costain, his most recent role as project director for the London Bridge station redevelopment.
Elford, who is now several months into the role, said he was “delighted” to join Galldris, adding: “I’ve had the opportunity to visit many of our projects and meet key clients across the country.
“I’ve been struck by the dedication of our people, who consistently deliver safely and collaboratively for our clients. The feedback I’ve received has been open and positive.
“We are working on some of the nation’s landmark civil engineering schemes, and I look forward to continuing to grow our footprint as the future unfolds.”
