San Francisco-headquartered Autodesk has announced a £2 million investment in a female-led UK construction tech startup, to accelerate the company’s mission to transform material management and drive sustainability in construction.

Founded in 2018, London-based Qualis Flow, known as Qflow, is a construction technology platform that helps contractors track and reduce the environmental, material, and carbon impacts of construction projects.
Autodesk’s funding will support Qflow’s product development and help expand its presence in the UK and internationally, including in North America.
The investment strengthens the firms’ existing collaboration, leveraging Qflow’s real-time data and AI alongside Autodesk Construction Cloud to validate materials, reduce rework, and track supply-chain risks.
This aligns with Autodesk’s broader mission to reduce waste, improve data accuracy, and drive sustainability across the construction industry.

Currently, poor data and rework contribute to an estimated £10-£25 billion in avoidable costs each year in the UK.
Qflow’s platform, already in use by firms like Bouygues, Ferrovial, and HS2, links real-time construction data with design intent, helping teams reduce errors, cut emissions, and improve project timelines.
Sidharth Haksar, vice president of construction strategy at Autodesk, said: “While project performance is shaped in preconstruction, it is realised and proven through reliable construction-phase data.
“That intelligence helps teams understand material flows, reduce waste, and strengthen carbon reporting, supporting the shift towards more circular construction.
“By investing in Qflow, we’re supporting their mission to help project teams improve quality control, better coordinate site and office teams, and ensure fewer disruptions to programmes, in turn, transforming construction-phase data from a compliance burden into a genuine competitive advantage.”
Brittany Harris, co-founder and chief executive officer at Qflow, added: “This investment from Autodesk is a strong endorsement of our approach and vision of the role that construction-phase data and intelligence must play in building more responsibly.”
