The company officially launched as a standalone entity yesterday (5 March), marking a new phase for the global programme and project management firm.

It will retain the Mace brand as it positioned itself for “accelerated” international growth, particularly in North America.

This will be supported by an “enhanced digital offering” and “expanded leadership” helmed by CEO Davendra Dabasia.

It also features Nick Pulford as its chief finance officer, Dan Easthope as managing director for global operations, and Zoe Price as managing director for Europe.

With more than 5,500 specialists across six continents, Dabasia described the transition as an “exciting new chapter”.

“Our partnership with Goldman Sachs Alternatives gives us the capital and strategic backing to scale our operations, particularly in North America, and to invest in digital tools that provide greater predictability, automation and control to set new standards for programme and project delivery, unlocking value across the lifecycle,” he said.

Our success is built on the talent and dedication of our people, who retain specialist knowledge, for whom this investment offers meaningful career growth as we expand globally.”

Since it was established in 1986, Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ private equity arm has invested more than $75 billion, with partner Jose Barreto praising Mace Consult’s entrepreneurial culture and client focus.

“We’re looking forward to supporting Mace Consult as it continues to deliver enduring value for clients and communities worldwide.”

First announced in July 2025, the undisclosed carve-out deal sees several key shareholders retain a minority stake in Mace Consult, while Mace Construct remains owned by Mace’s existing shareholders.

Goldman Sachs Alternatives was advised by Lazard, Jefferies, and White & Case, while Mace Group was advised by UBS and Linklaters.
