The move marks data centres as Winvic’s fourth core sector, alongside industrial and logistics, multi-room, and civils and infrastructure.

Part of its ongoing growth and diversification, Winvic’s expansion into the data centre market builds on more than 25 years of experience delivering large-scale construction and civil engineering projects.

The company aims to leverage its core values and expertise to deliver purpose-built, scalable, and resilient data centre solutions that meet the growing demand.

Its entry into the sector follows significant investment in supply chain development, team upskilling, and the recruitment of new technical expertise.

Danny Cross, director – head of data centre delivery, said: “Working alongside specialist MEP partners, we’re combining civil engineering scale and management with technical precision to deliver data centres designed for uptime, resilience, and scalability.

“This marks a significant milestone in Winvic’s evolution as we expand into one of the fastest-growing construction sectors whilst maintaining our commitment to quality, collaboration, and excellence.

Danny Nelson, managing director of industrial, logistics and data centres, added: “Our entry into the data centre market is a natural evolution of our capabilities as these developments share similar attributes to buildings we’ve been specialising in for over 25 years.

“Our proven delivery of large-scale and complex industrial and logistics projects, rigorous safety and quality standards through our ‘Doing It Right’ culture, and a collaborative approach gives us a strong advantage.”

Winvic Construction surpassed £1 billion in turnover for the year ended 31 January 2025, reporting a 5.6 per cent increase from the previous year, with operating profit rising 65.7 per cent to £28.1 million and pre-tax profit up 62.7per cent to £30.4 million, driven by strong demand and key milestones across its three sectors.
